What is a 4+1 vs 5 axis Rotary Table?

What is the difference between a 4+1 and a full 5 axes simultaneous in regards to a rotary table integration?
A 4+1 configuration means that you are able to program up to 4 axes (any 4 axes) simultaneous. A full 5 axis configuration means that you are able to run up to 5 axes simultaneous. This is a function of the control on your machine.
