Rotary Joints
What are rotary joints and what are they used for?
Rotary joints are installed on rotary tables to transfer pneumatic or hydraulic pressure to a manifold mounted in the center hole of the rotary table for use with a fixture. There are many options available for the rotary joints depending on the application. The rotary joint is typically available with up to 10 ports. They are available for 4th, 4th / 5th axis and 5th / 6th axis rotary tables. The rotary joint blocks the thru hole in the rotary table.
