What are Technitron External and Internal Cables?

External cables refer to the cables that are attached to the rotary table, then are routed to the roof (VMC machines) or the APC door (HMC machines). We typically supply the external cables with MS connectors on both ends to allow for easy replacement and removal of the table from the machine. Internal cables refer to the cables that connect at the roof of a VMC machine or the APC door of an HMC machine and then are routed to the electrical cabinet. Technitron usually supplies 2 cables per axis (Power = Motor and I/O and Feedback). Some machines only have one cable per axis. Technitron builds custom cable systems based on the make and model of the machine and the customers’ requirements. We supply custom high flex cables with many options including protective sleeving and conduit.
