Angular Accuracy
Is the angular accuracy important and what does it mean?
The angular accuracy is listed in arc seconds. It can be stated as a total or +/- arc second’s error. A stated total angular accuracy of 20 arc seconds is the maximum error detected in the CW and CCW direction added together, it should not exceed 20 arc seconds in either direction. We do offer a direct mount to the rotary table spindle assembly feedback options (Heidenhain / Renishaw / Fanuc etc.) on the rotary table to improve the accuracy. These options will decrease or eliminate the thru hole in the rotary table. The example of the accuracy plot shows the CW and CCW errors
